Volunteer/Mentor

Volunteers for Open Door Home come in many forms. We are grateful for whatever help individuals, church or civic groups, or businesses are able to provide. Volunteers have a unique opportunity to be friends and mentors to our youth and help them feel seen and valued as individuals.

Volunteer opportunities include mentoring, college internships, tutoring, and help with events. Community partners have the opportunity to volunteer for a single event or to establish an ongoing volunteer relationship. Open Door Home does not require a minimum time or resource commitment from volunteers.

One of our goals is for each youth in our care to benefit from a one-on-one mentoring relationship. We are always open to inquiries from adults interested in mentoring one of our youth.

If you are interested in volunteering or mentoring for Open Door Home, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at lburks@opendoorhome.org
